RN Nurse Manager - ICU

Role Overview: The RN Nurse Manager leads the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Magnet®-recognized, high-acuity 28-bed facility, overseeing quality nursing care and administrative operations for multiple units with over 80 FTEs on a 24-hour basis. Key Responsibilities Manage clinical staff, ensuring delivery of exceptional patient care across diverse populations, including Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neurological patients.Partner with an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead and support the nursing team.Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.Participate in staff development and continuing education initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree or current progress towards it.California RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NNR) preferred for relevant units.Minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience, with preferred background in nursing management and critical care.
