About the Role
Seeking a RN Nurse Manager for a 28-bed ICU specializing in Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neurological care. This full-time leadership position involves overseeing high-quality nursing care and managing multiple nursing units with over 80 FTEs on a 24-hour basis. The manager demonstrates proficiency in delivering age-specific care, including infants to geriatrics, and collaborates with an Assistant Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate clinical operations in the ICU
- Ensure delivery of excellent patient care
- Manage administrative and staffing functions
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Participate in staff development and continuing education
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in progress
- California RN License and BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (if applicable)
- Minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience, with preferred management or critical care background
