RN Nurse Manager – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Job Summary Responsible for developing, administering, and directing nursing and patient care activities within designated areas. Collaborates with the nursing team to support organizational initiatives, standardize systems, improve efficiencies, and oversee financial aspects of nursing programs and services. Focuses on integrating performance improvement strategies and promoting communication plans that enhance patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Works closely with hospital departments to implement nursing integration, service line development, and standardized practices. Main Responsibilities Develops and improves care delivery models to enhance patient, family, staff, and provider satisfaction.Ensures compliance with nursing practice acts, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines.Promotes transparency, collaboration, and accountability across teams.Enhances nursing practice quality, administration, and service delivery.Optimizes resource allocation for current and future initiatives.Leads a multidisciplinary team to provide competent, efficient, and compassionate care in a challenging environment. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.Bachelor's degree preferred.RN licensure required; specialty certification and knowledge of healthcare issues, trends, legal compliance, and managed care are preferred. Additional training and skills in collaborative partnership development are advantageous.
