Nursing Manager - Cardiothoracic/Vascular Operating Room

About the Role

Responsible for managing the delivery of nursing care to a specific patient population on a 24-hour basis, ensuring quality clinical outcomes and optimal resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Create and promote a professional practice environment aligned with organizational goals and values.
• Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan within the department.
• Ensure high levels of coworker engagement, patient satisfaction, safety, quality outcomes, financial performance, and physician satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; active pursuit of a Baccalaureate degree acceptable for internal transfers.
• Current RN license or Temporary Permit in the practice state.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience demonstrating leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer use and data analysis.

Skills

• Preferred: BSN and Master's degree.
• Preferred: Certification in specialty practice area.
