Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic NICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

Requirements

  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
  • BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
  • Prior NICU experience preferred
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Skills

The ideal candidate should be able to provide age specific care regarding physiological and nutritional needs of the neonate, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in planning patient care, facilitate bonding of infant and family, reassure parents by providing education/explanations in easily understood terms to reduce stress, advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team, and resuscitate neonates and stabilize patients.
