Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our NICU Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, you’ll monitor the complex medical needs of sick and preterm infants. Every day, you will provide compassionate care, serving as their advocate; supporting their best interests when they cannot. To thrive in this role, you’ll heavily depend on your ability to multitask and react. You’ll clinically care for your patients, remaining focused and attentive, as you continuously monitor them throughout your shift.

Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs. Educate parents on various interventions or procedures, medications (name and purpose), exams, etc. Assess newborns and provide care. Communicate with the care management team. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact
  • BLS (Basic life support) through American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 6 months of hire

Pay Range

We are offering up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
