RN Navigator - Shared Infusion

About the role

The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) provides consistent support throughout the cancer care continuum. An RN with expertise in oncology, the ONN triages patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, offering interventions or referrals.

Responsibilities

• Educate and empower patients to participate in their care and understand treatment options.
• Reduce stress related to diagnosis and treatment.
• Support treatment completion and survivorship planning.
• Serve as a reliable resource for patients and their families.
• Coordinate care and facilitate communication among care teams.

Requirements

• Oregon RN license and BLS certification required.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum three years of oncology experience.
• Preferred: Case management or clinical trial experience.

Skills

• Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage emotional and social aspects of patient care.

Pay

$50.14 - $77.83 per hour, with potential for additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.

Schedule

Part-time, on-site role.
