RN Navigator - Shared Infusion

Role Overview The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) provides consistent support throughout the cancer care journey, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Triaging patient needs and offering interventions or referrals.Educating and empowering patients to participate in their care and understand treatment options.Supporting patients from diagnosis through survivorship planning.Serving as a knowledgeable resource and advocate in oncology care. Qualifications: Oregon RN license and BLS certification.Within 18 months, obtain Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential.Minimum of 3 years oncology experience.Preferred: Case management or clinical trial experience. Skills & Attributes: Strong knowledge of oncology treatments and patient-centered care.Excellent communication, advocacy, and referral skills.Ability to support patients emotionally and socially during cancer treatment.
