RN Mom Baby Night Nurse

About the Role

Provides expert nursing care in a Women and Infants unit, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to standards such as AWHONN and AACN. Acts as a patient advocate, prioritizes safety, and contributes to a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Models proficiency through precepting and supports clinical education.
• Ensures safety and quality at the point of care.
• Provides high-quality, evidence-based care in women’s health and neonatal care settings.
• Collaborates with team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Adheres to practice standards such as AWHONN and AACN.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 6 months of Women and Infants RN experience or completion of a fellowship.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as RNC-OB, C-EFM, and CCRN.
