Role Overview: Responsible for providing direct patient care in a Med-Surg Stroke unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Focuses on evidence-based practice, patient wellness, safety, and quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver top of scope nursing care to patients with moderate to high acuity.Precept and mentor new healthcare team members.Prioritize patient safety and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Maintain compliance with certifications and standards, including NIHSS and BLS. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (less than 3 years' experience) or equivalent.Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of RN experience.Certifications in BLS and NIHSS (within 6 months).Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
