RN - MedSurg, PRN, Nights

About the role

Our 18-bed Medical-Surgical unit provides a fast-paced, hands-on environment caring for adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and complex illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
• Manage patient care activities and coordinate with team members to ensure quality care
• Perform clinical tasks such as IV starts, bedside procedures, wound care, NGT and chest tube management, blood transfusions, and post-op care
• Assist with patient needs across hospital units as needed, fostering clinical growth and collaboration

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• BLS certification required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Hospital experience advantageous
