About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain professional standards, and coordinate patient care activities among staff to deliver quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care activities of assigned staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Maintain practice standards and demonstrate professional growth.

Requirements

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification.
• Nursing program diploma (new graduates eligible to apply).

Qualifications

• Preferred: Hospital experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Advanced specialty certifications.
