About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities
Maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure the delivery of quality nursing services within organizational policies. Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license required.
- BCLS certification required; additional specialty certifications may be necessary based on area.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric and surgical certifications may be required depending on the unit.
