About the role

Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive patient care during hospital stays, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams using a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts age-appropriate assessments, documents findings, and evaluates patient condition.
  • Develops, coordinates, and updates individualized care plans based on assessment data, diagnoses, and physician orders.
  • Administers medications, monitors IV fluids, and provides patient and family education, including discharge planning.
  • Recognizes clinical changes, responds appropriately, and involves families in decision-making.
  • Delivers specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
  • Maintains professional accountability by adhering to policies, participating in quality improvement, and staying current with certifications.
  • Ensures safety, infection control, and environmental organization according to standards.
  • Provides compassionate service, effective communication, and collaborates with team members to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Supports professional development through evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN in the relevant state with required certifications such as BLS.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to respond to changing clinical situations and work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
