About the role
Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive patient care during hospital stays, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams using a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Conducts age-appropriate assessments, documents findings, and evaluates patient condition.
- Develops, coordinates, and updates individualized care plans based on assessment data, diagnoses, and physician orders.
- Administers medications, monitors IV fluids, and provides patient and family education, including discharge planning.
- Recognizes clinical changes, responds appropriately, and involves families in decision-making.
- Delivers specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
- Maintains professional accountability by adhering to policies, participating in quality improvement, and staying current with certifications.
- Ensures safety, infection control, and environmental organization according to standards.
- Provides compassionate service, effective communication, and collaborates with team members to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Supports professional development through evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in the relevant state with required certifications such as BLS.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
- Ability to respond to changing clinical situations and work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
