Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Weekend Nights

About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse to assess, manage, and coordinate patient care during hospital stays, utilizing a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and reassessment of patients across different age groups and document findings accurately.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician orders.
• Administer medications, monitor IV fluids, provide patient and family education, and ensure discharge planning.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including pain management, restraint use, and abuse assessment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, ensuring safety, infection control, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Document care and communication effectively, providing high-quality service with professionalism and empathy.
• Engage in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and departmental activities to enhance care quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Licensed RN in applicable states with current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, technical, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to infection control, safety, and professional development.
