About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to assess, manage, and coordinate patient care during hospitalization, utilizing a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive and age-appropriate assessments, documenting findings accurately.
- Developing and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician orders.
- Providing and documenting nursing interventions, administering medications, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
- Educating patients and families about discharge needs and health management.
- Recognizing changes in patient conditions, responding appropriately, and involving families in decision-making.
- Delivering specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and professional standards, including maintaining current licensure and certifications.
- Promoting service excellence through effective communication, confidentiality, and compassionate patient interactions.
- Engaging in performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practices, and collaborative team efforts.
Qualifications and skills
- Valid RN license in applicable states with required certifications such as BLS.
- Excellent assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and work effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, infection control, and professional growth.
