Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Weekend Nights

We are seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive nursing care during a patient's hospital stay. Key Responsibilities Include Performing thorough assessments, including admission, transfer, post-op, and discharge evaluations.Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnosis, lab data, and physician orders.Administering medications, monitoring IV fluids, facilitating referrals, and providing patient and family education.Recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition, managing specialized care such as restraints and pain, and ensuring safety and infection control practices.Documenting care, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and advocating for patient safety and comfort.Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, adhering to policies, and maintaining professional standards and certifications. Qualifications And Skills Required Current valid RN license in the applicable state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Competence in clinical skills, effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability.Ability to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care for adult and geriatric patients.Commitment to safety, infection control, and continuous professional development.
