RN - Medical/Surgical Observation

Job Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, while maintaining safety and cost-effective practices. Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-efficient resource management.Prioritize patient safety and promote a safe care environment.Commit to ongoing professional learning and development. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
