About the role
Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, aligned with organizational standards and values.
Responsibilities
- Administers nursing duties and collaborates with healthcare teams.
- Assesses patient needs and ensures compliance with licensure requirements.
- Maintains current certifications such as BLS, with additional unit-specific certifications as needed.
Key Duties
- Deliver compassionate patient care.
- Evaluate care quality and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support patient health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
Skills & Certifications
- Knowledge of nursing standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, and others relevant to departmental needs.
