RN - Medical Surgical - Full Time - Night Shift

About the Role

Join a dedicated medical/surgical team as a registered nurse, utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, ensuring high standards aligned with organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit, caring for diverse conditions such as GI, Oncology, Post-Op, COPD, and wound care.
• Support a RN-to-patient ratio of 1:6, with assistance from Patient Care Associates.
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with active RN licensure.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS, with additional unit-specific certifications as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for prolonged periods, and perform physical activities like bending and kneeling.
