This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care through critical thinking, compassionate practice, and adherence to nursing processes. It emphasizes patient advocacy, respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights while supporting health restoration whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform treatments
• Provide age-appropriate care and patient education, including family involvement
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate care and assist with procedures
• Address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services for discharge planning
• Practice cost-effective resource management
• Prioritize patient safety and minimize risks
• Engage in lifelong learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Computer literacy
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
