RN - Medical ICU Nurse Transition Program - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical ICU Transition Program. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care aligned with state and hospital policies, employing critical thinking to assess and monitor patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, delegate tasks, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet unit goals. Program Details: Offers an 8-12 week training with a preceptor and 8 weeks of dedicated education for experienced acute care nurses transitioning into Critical Care Nursing. Limited spots available in ICU units. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year inpatient RN experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, ECG monitoring, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and 2 years of inpatient RN experience.
