RN - Medical ICU - Nights

About the role

Provide critical care in a hospital Medical ICU setting on night shifts, delivering high-quality patient care as an integral team member in a fast-paced environment. Work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care following state nursing practice acts and hospital policies.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess patient conditions and recognize changes.
• Develop and evaluate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and record observations.
• Delegate tasks appropriately.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve unit goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of critical care RN experience.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
