RN Medical Coordinator

About the role

Join a company dedicated to making a positive impact globally. This role requires a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with current, unrestricted RN licenses, BLS certifications, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Employment experience in public health or healthcare settings with care coordination experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Maintain regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Generate, decipher, and correct medical documentation.
• Perform daily audits of Portal documentation.
• Assess and monitor health conditions, assist with procedures, operate medical equipment, administer treatments, and provide patient education.
• Ensure accurate documentation and report to federal and state guidelines.
• Communicate with Lead Medical Coordinator and Regional Director.
• Develop health and medical protocols.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and operations.
• Manage and coordinate medical staff.
• Supervise and train medical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety protocols.
• Respond sensitively to diverse populations and maintain professional conduct.
• Collect and document medical staff activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide annual influenza vaccinations or obtain an approved exemption.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.
• Provide proof of work eligibility and criminal background checks.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and collaboration skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be physically capable of walking, lifting, stretching, and bending.
• Communicate effectively in English.

• Provide current physical-medical release and immunizations.
