About the Role
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments in the Medical Surgical unit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards and values
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN licensure in Missouri or in a compact state
- BLS certification
- Previous hospital experience (preferred)
- Additional certifications (preferred)
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform various movements necessary for nursing duties
- Strong clinical skills
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Acute care management
