RN Med Surg - Full Time Nights - Mercy Hospital Kingfisher

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Performs duties in a manner consistent with mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards

Pay

• New Grad RN: $15,000 sign-on bonus
• Experienced RN (1+ years): $20,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire
• One or more of the following may be required based on unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
