About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, while assisting with procedures and addressing psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.
• Administers prescribed medications and provides age-appropriate care.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge for treatments and services.
• Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assists with procedures, demonstrating technical skills.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and collaborates with social services.
• Practices cost-effectiveness and promotes patient safety.
• Engages in lifelong learning to enhance nursing expertise.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy required; ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
