Role Overview

This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care within the assigned setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality care through critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate communication, while respecting patient autonomy and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform treatments using nursing knowledge.
• Provide age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans, addressing learning needs.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical and manual services.
• Identify and address psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effectiveness and ensure efficient use of supplies and resources.
• Prioritize patient care effectively, promoting safety and minimizing risks.
• Commit to lifelong learning to stay current in the nursing profession.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Proficiency in computer literacy.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
