About the Role
Provide professional nursing care in the Medical Oncology Unit in accordance with hospital policies and the Illinois Professional RN Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and plan, evaluate, and monitor care.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to team members and collaborate to meet unit goals.
- Employ critical thinking skills and document pertinent observations.
- Deliver bedside nursing care, assess patient progress, and work as part of a team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
- 1+ years of inpatient RN experience.
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required within one year of start date.
