Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to restore health while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care effectively. Key Responsibilities Accurately assesses patients based on their medical conditions.Administers medications as prescribed and provides age-appropriate care.Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical skills.Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning.Practices cost-effective resource management.Prioritizes patient safety and promotes a safe care environment.Engages in lifelong learning to maintain professional competence. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy required; additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS/PALS preferred.RN licensure required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
