RN Manager - Perioperative Services (Evenings)

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, delegating, and monitoring staff utilization, budgeting, and process improvements to ensure efficient patient throughput and staff workflows.
• Supervising clinical care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining readiness for surveys and accreditations.
• Fostering physician relationships and supporting departmental equipment, infection prevention, and safety protocols.
• Managing personnel performance, staffing needs, staff development, and engagement programs.
• Overseeing departmental policies, procedures, and compliance with standards such as AORN, OSHA, and DNV.
• Handling budgeting, resource allocation, and participating in committee meetings.
• Ensuring survey readiness, staff accountability, and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Providing direct supervision during evening shifts and stepping into supervisory roles as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed RN with Illinois license, BLS certification, and national nursing certification within 3 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with preferred experience in perioperative nursing and leadership roles.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, team management, and proficiency in Microsoft programs.
