RN - Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Evenings)

Position Details

Location: Morton Plant Hospital, 300 Pinellas St., Clearwater, FL 33756
Status: Fulltime
Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
On Call: Yes
Always in person

Summary

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years RN experience is required. At least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN is preferred for consideration.

• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Interpersonal skills
• Certifications And Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Preferred

• Nurse Specialty Education: Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• PREFERRED: Bachelor's Nursing
