RN Manager - Long Term Care - Kodiak

Under general supervision, works in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver elder-centered care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to standards of practice, incorporating Eden Philosophy as part of our core values and practices. This position ensures smooth operational management and a comprehensive approach to quality improvement and infection control at Providence Valdez Medical Center Long Term Care. Serves on the hospital executive team and plays an integral role in regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver elder-centered care.
• Ensure smooth operational management of the long-term care facility.
• Oversee quality improvement and infection control initiatives.
• Serve on the hospital executive team to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• 3 years of experience as an RN in a healthcare facility.
• 1 year of long-term care or related experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree related to health sciences field.
  • Experience managing programs or staff in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in human resource/organizational development and/or healthcare training.
  • Quality Improvement and Infection Control experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $52.26 - $81.13 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
