RN Manager Electrophysiology Lab
Job Summary
The Electrophysiology Lab Manager provides direction to the staff of the Electrophysiology Lab to assist during electrophysiology studies, ablations, ICD implants and checks and permanent pacemakers, utilizes technical skills, and supports both the patient and physician during these procedures. Supervises and directs the technical aspects in the Electrophysiology Lab. Coordinates scheduling of all patients and coordinates with other areas. Administers and/or recommends hospital and department policies and procedures. Evaluates and counsels employees relative to performance, conduct, attendance and adherence to department/hospital rules and regulations. Resolves personnel questions, problems and complaints. Recommends hiring, promotion, discipline and other administrative action. Orients and trains new staff. Orders appropriate supplies as needed. Collects, generates, analyzes and distributes statistical reports as required. Troubleshoots minor equipment problems. Attends regularly scheduled department meetings, staff in-services, and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- 5+ Years Experience in an EP Lab - Preferred
- State of NH RN License - Required
