RiverWoods Manchester is seeking a Part Time RN or LPN (20 hours per week) to provide direct resident care in a team-focused environment where residents are the priority.

Schedule

  • Set schedule: every other Friday 7a-7p, Saturday (alternating 7a-3p & 7a-7p), and every other Sunday 7a-7p
  • Week 1: Friday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday, Saturday

Pay

  • Starting wages at $37.50+/hour, determined by years of experience and license
  • $3000 sign-on bonus (subject to eligibility requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Performs professional duties in accordance with facility policies/procedures, State of New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, OBRA, and HIPAA
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to formulate and update individualized resident care plans
  • Participates in Resident Care Plan Meetings
  • Institutes care protocols including falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, weight management, skin integrity, bowel/bladder management, infection control guidelines (Standard Precautions), and pain assessment and management
  • Assesses and documents changes in residents’ physical or mental status and reports findings to the primary care physician and treatment team
  • Provides complete clinical data to facilitate decision-making
  • Provides leadership and direction for direct caregivers, prepares daily assignments, and delegates workload appropriately
  • Supervises direct care through observation and evaluation of direct care results
  • Establishes positive working relationships with team members, residents, and family members to facilitate open communication
  • Obtains, administers, and documents medications and treatments following professional guidelines and Nursing department policies
  • Inventories and maintains locked system for narcotics
  • Supports, creates, and maintains a positive culture for team members and residents

Qualifications

  • Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, university, or nursing school
  • Long-term care facility experience and specialized knowledge of nursing care of the elderly and rehabilitative nursing preferred
  • Registered nursing (RN, LPN) license within the State of New Hampshire
  • Certified in intravenous administration preferred
  • Must maintain CEUs annually
  • CPR certification required
