About the role
Per diem RN position in Labor and Delivery at Arlington Heights, IL, working night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, effective, and timely.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members in person, phone, and written formats.
- Provide individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Commitment to quality care and professional development.
- Ability to work independently within a team setting.
