Role: RN - Labor and Delivery (Per Diem) Responsibilities Include Conducting patient assessments and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.Coordinating individualized care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and effective.Communicating clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.Providing personalized education to patients and families based on thorough assessments.Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications And Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited institution.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties Delivering safe, patient-centered care in labor and delivery settings during night shifts.Ensuring effective communication and education tailored to patient needs.Contributing to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
