RN - Labor and Delivery - Per Diem - Night

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Coordinate patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
• Customize patient and family education based on comprehensive assessments to meet individual learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Key Duties

• Deliver compassionate, safe nursing care during labor and delivery shifts, ensuring effective communication, individualized patient education, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
