About the Role
The registered nurse provides comprehensive, evidence-based patient care in Women and Infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, Women's Care, and NICU, following AWHONN and AACN standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional results.
- Precept and mentor new staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Support specialized education and competency validation through clinical educators.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- Current RN licensure and relevant certifications (NRP, ACLS, C-EFM, BLS in good standing).
- Minimum 6 months Women's and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Schedule
Night shifts with incentive pay.
