About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in the Emergency Room, supervising nursing and technician staff during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assign and coordinate patient care based on the nursing process and independent judgment
- Monitor staff performance, ensuring adherence to policies, and foster a positive work environment
- Act as liaison among physicians, patients, and departments to facilitate communication and problem-solving
- Deliver safe, quality patient care across all age groups and assist with procedures, medication administration, and emergency responses
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Support patient safety and advocate for patient participation in care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Current RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement
- CPR/BLS certification within 30 days
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
