About the role
The RN III Fetal Care team is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies and their infants. Our team works closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and child.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document fetal health and maternal condition during prenatal visits.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as necessary.
- Participate in rounds and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in maternal-fetal medicine or neonatal intensive care.
- Knowledge of fetal monitoring techniques and neonatal resuscitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Completion of a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Experience with fetal ultrasound and echocardiography.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
