About the role
The role of Registered Nurse (RN) in Fetal Care is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies, focusing on fetal health and maternal well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor fetal health through regular ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for high-risk pregnancies.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, drawing blood, and assisting with procedures.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay updated on fetal care practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in obstetric or neonatal intensive care units preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly electronic health record (EHR) software.
Skills
- Knowledge of fetal development and common fetal anomalies.
- Skilled in managing high-risk pregnancies and delivering complex care plans.
