RN - ICU Step Down / Nights

Find your calling at Mercy! Position Overview This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care in a 32-bed ICU Step Down unit, serving neurological, medical, and surgical patients. The nurse will support patients transitioning out of ICU or requiring higher-level care, with a focus on neurological conditions as a Certified Stroke Center. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care aligned with hospital protocols and standards.Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and document accurately.Support patients' recovery and promote safety and comfort. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN acceptable).Current RN license in the state or valid compact license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.Strong communication, compassion, professionalism, and teamwork skills. Ideal candidates are positive, advocacy-driven, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent care. Opportunities are available for new graduates.
