About the Role
This position involves working in a high-energy, 32-bed ICU Step Down unit focused on patients transitioning from intensive care or requiring higher levels of care, primarily neurological, medical, and surgical cases. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a supportive environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and ensure safety
- Support patients and families through education and advocacy
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards and licensing requirements
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN acceptable)
- Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Strong compassionate, professional, and collaborative approach
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional care
