About the role
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Works within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care from birth through the lifecycle
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
- Coordinate and supervise care provided by staff
- Adhere to organizational policies and uphold standards of practice
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New graduates eligible to apply
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
Preferred
- Hospital experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced specialty certification
