Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess patients, perform skilled procedures, implement care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic, and effective care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective, comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure a comprehensive plan of care.
• Applies knowledge of current practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrates accountability for ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing or escalating issues.
• Serves as a patient advocate.
• Completes patient assessments competently, assessing physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, discharge, and cultural needs.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans based on assessment.
• Coordinates with other disciplines when necessary.
• Prioritizes care needs and sets measurable goals and time frames.
• Involves patients and families in the planning process.
• Implements interventions based on nursing and medical plans of care.
• Manages patient populations, diagnoses, and age-specific needs through appropriate adaptations of interventions.
• Uses SBAR to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice and seeks multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Interprets and integrates multiple sources of data to make appropriate clinical decisions based on patient needs and desired outcomes.

Required Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
• 1 year ICU acute care experience
• BLS certification - American Heart Association
• ACLS certification - American Heart Association
• Basic or Advanced Dysrythmia Certification
• Crisis Prevention Institute Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
• LA City Fire Safety Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
