Your Role on the Team
The Administrative House Supervisor has 12-hour shift responsibility for supporting the staff in all departments in daily operational functions, clinical functions, and bed capacity management. Also has fiscal responsibility to ensure that department budget constraints pertaining to staffing guidelines are met.
Coaches, mentors, and advises staff in coordinating- and facilitating services which ensue high-quality care, cost-effectiveness, superior patient experience, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Represents hospital administration in coordinating hospital-wide issues of concern and appropriately notifying the administrator-on-call as indicated.
Maintains current knowledge of hospital-wide operations. Facilitates positive, collaborative, and cooperative relationships between hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of recent nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
