About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in Women and Infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women’s Care, and NICU.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Prioritize patient wellness
- Model proficiency through precepting
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN licensure
- Relevant certification (e.g., NRP within 6 months)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of fellowship
- BLS certification required before start date
Skills
- Utilize evidence-based practices following AWHONN and AACN standards
- Support and guide clinical education and competency validation
- Adhere to practice standards for specialty care in obstetrics and neonatal units
