About the role
Provide nursing care in fast-paced ED/Urgent Care and Med Surg Telemetry units, focusing on higher acuity patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized care plans for a diverse patient population across multiple settings.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, prioritize care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient responses, recognize changes, and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide patient and family education, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
- Promote health, safety, and infection control standards while participating in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active RN license (Washington or Multistate Compact).
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS within 6 months).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in ambulatory, primary care, case management, or emergency nursing.
- BSN and pediatric advanced life support are advantageous.
