RN - Home Health - Full Time

About the role

Join Meritus Home Health as a Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and one weekend rotation every four weeks. This position offers up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health RN, you will support patients through:

• Skilled nursing care
• Medication management
• Physical and occupational therapy coordination
• Medical social services
• Postpartum care
• Advanced wound care
• High-tech infusion therapy
• Palliative and terminal illness support

RNs manage their own daily visit schedules, typically seeing 5–6 patients per day, with limited on-call requirements (4–5 nights/month, 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM).

Requirements

• Education: ASN or higher required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience required; Home Health or Acute Hospital experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or a compact state license with "Multi-State Privilege" (primary source verification required).
  • Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program™ preferred.
  • Current BLS certification in compliance with policy.
• Transportation:
  • Must provide own transportation, with a current, valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • Vehicle maintenance is the employee’s responsibility.
  • Acknowledgment and signature of Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy ("Attestation A") required.
